Summary of the Regular Set-Up

SUMMARY OF THE REGULAR SET-UP PROCEDURE STRUCTURE CONCEPTION
HERCULES SERIES PROCEDURES AND CONCEPTS

ALL EQUIPMENT STRUCTURE is designed in forged steel using MIG welding.

MILLING DISPLACEMENTS boxs & beds and support surfaces with single tightening torque of the components (it implies precise bed parallelism) in large sized equipment.

SERIAL PRODUCTION of components used for several gamas on Hercules Series, and that already have been submitted to several development stages and tests.

SURFACE TREATMENT on metal components. Steel grit blasting grease removal, and thermally applied zinc coating. This protection is reinforced with an anti-deterioration / aging finish by means of an undercoat, a graphite rubber component layer and high gloss paint top. Hence, we guarantee maximum anti-corrosion protection against its common operating environments.

MATERIALS AND METHODS APPLIED

Equipment with stainless steel protective gards & bellows for covering the displacement beds, i.e., the area where the equipment moves.

Individual variable speed drive allowing a more accurate speed and position adjustment.

Electric motorization of all axle movements.

Up to 900 mm diameter aluminum saw shield / guard. For larger diameters it is made in metal sheet and stainless steel.

Use of linear bearing on guides, that will contribute to a significant decrease in friction, for faster, precise and silent movements.

Automatic lubrication with timer, which allows keeping the equipment lubricated in all of its constant movement points, without any need for operator intervention.

Horizontal displacements in oil bath ability.

Electrical panel built in our own facilities, compliant with all CE regulations. Vibration free and with easy access, as it will be set up close to the ground.

Electric panel ventilation system with temperature control.

Software in permanent development for easy use data input and reading, based on opinions and questions from the operators.

Counting system through an independent gear, which increases reading precision without using transmission elements, allowing to possitioning the displacement elements / axles with a maximum error of 2 tenths of a millimeter.

Setting the cuting operations, draw profiles, adjust the saw operation on, decreasing the cycle times without using travel stops.

Automatic adjustment of the peripheral speed of the saw. It is only necessary to set the type of material to be cut, and the saw diameter.

Copy system through proper drawing program that allows creating and changing several templates. The cut and correction can be done on the profile or on top of it.

Abillity to receive and operate complex draws or cutting cycles programs.

Power failure recovery (position and status memory) for automatically continuing working, saving time and materials to be cut.

Production / cost control through a total hour counter or by works and area counter total, by work or by saw.

GSM or WEB text messaging system that lets you know that the work has ended or of any errors in the cut phase.

Signal emission to check the condition of the equipment at the distance.

Flexible cables, moved through the cable supporting rails.

Junction box for the spindle cables.

Mesh reinforced (inside) rubber water hose.

Control of the cut passages through vertical movement of the saw by using the head ram programmable descent.

Support bearings to keep saw pressure on the stone and the structure level when the saw rests over the stone.

Use of a laser for better alignment of initial positioning on the pieces to cut.

Managing several pieces of equipment from a main computer in the office through ethernet (sending production orders).

PROTECTIONS AND ALARMS

Water pressure switch to control cooling and washing of the saw. (Placed on top of pillar for greater precision).

Oil pressure switch in the lubrication system and on the braking system for pump protection in case of pressure loss in the circuit.

Shields and rails for collecting the oil coming from lubricating the material used for cutting.

Automatic stop/protection of the cutting disc in case the material gets stuck, rpm decrease or at the end of the programme.

Automatic axle stop/protection in case of mechanical anomalies during operation.

Travel stops cease working to avoid Programming / Operation errors.

Equipment stoppage when opening the electric panel.

Manual control switch in low voltage to protect the operator.

Electric protection by using magneto thermal switches (with no fuses).

Regulated power supply, thus protecting low voltage circuits against power surges.

Equipment stoppage after encoder pulse counting failure or contactor jamming.

Measure Encoder component with steel mesh braided cables (counting system) for anti-power surge protection.

Flaw detection system on the power grid.

Automatic system to avoid collision, after the sensor detects a protrusion in the piece to be cut on saw travel predetection system, for a smoother operation, thus extending the equipment lifespan (on pulies bloc saw options).

HERCULES SERIES ABILITIES on demand

Option to select several working heads to assemble on the same head ram (cutting head change ability) to allow multi-work prodution or multiple head rams.

Option to select the best bench adjustable to production work, single or double or multiple benchs with diferents configurations.

Vertical travel of the RAM with configurations above 78,1/2 inch (in) / 2 meters (mt)

Bridge manufactured in 3 gamas (sizes) and length until 334,1/2 in / 8,5 mt (on special demand and reinforcement until 12 mt) to allow several stones on same cutting movement.

Second cutting / rectifying head ram with twin spindle head, with an automatic system for dividing tasks or with independent programmes, which allow duplicating production. The operator can also choose to work with only one spindle.

Turning spindle (lathe bench) for square and round columns, opening channels and embossed straight lines.
